Shoulder Surgery
On Tuesday July 23, 2013 I tripped over a footstool as I stood up from my desk, and my left shoulder smashed into the wall going into the foyer behind my desk. I was taken by car to Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, KY where they X rayed me and determined that the fracture was too complex for them to fix there. I was taken by ambulance to University of Louisville Hospital. On Thursday July 25 I had surgery on my shoulder and they inserted a titanium rod into my Humerus bone and attached a chromium cobalt knob to fit into my shoulder socket.
