I finished off the end of year 2020 with two visits to Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville.
My first visit resulted in the removal of several Varices from my Esophagus.
My second visit resulted in the removal of 2.4 Liters of fluid from my right lung after which I was able to breath more deeply and fully.

House Updates
In this month of May, 2020, we got new roofing shingles installed on the house and the shed, had the pickets replaced on the backyard privacy fence, and in June we had the gutters and downspouts replaced on the house and we are scheduled to replace the kitchen sliding door leading to the patio. Trying to get ready for retirement in the near future!

New Car
Today we traded in the Hyundai Santa Fe for a 2015 Nissan Rogue. Vickie has been driving the Santa Fe since 2006 and we felt that it was time to replace it with something newer.

Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum
Monday July 3, 2017 Me, Vickie, Jenny and Gord visited the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum. We viewed baseball related creations made with Lego blocks, got to hold bats made for baseball greats, watched 90 mph pitches from a pitching machine, and toured the factory. Took some good pictures and added a patch to my collection. Afterwards we had a cookout at Jenny & Gord's house. Another great day celebrating with family!

Biplane Ride 2017
On Saturday June 17, 2017 I was treated by Jenny and Gord to a ride in a reproduction 1939 Waco Biplane. Jenny and I were flown by Steve Koch over the Louisville area including Jenny's house. It was about a half hour flight and was very fun. I had a very difficult time getting in and out of the plane this time, but it was worth the discomfort. Afterwords we had a cookout at Jenny and Gord's home. A great Father's Day for me.

Christmas, 2016
Vickie, Jenny and Gord, and I celebrated Christmas at our house in Bardstown. We had a nice lunch of Lasagna, salad, Italian bread, and apple pie. After lunch we opened presents. I received a nice Ohio State football jersey, a L.L.Bean flannel shirt, flannel pajama bottoms, a baseball bat display hanger, a subscription to TCM schedule, several restaurant gift cards, and assorted candies and cookies. Gord fixed my Email so that I may now send Email from my Mac. It was a very nice Christmas Day.

Birthday 2016
Vickie and I celebrated my 64th Birthday at Jenny and Gord's house in St. Matthews, KY. We had homemade spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, and cheesecake. Jackie McNatt joined us for the lighting of Brown Park and a visit to Starbucks. I received a Pizza Slice ornament for our Christmas tree. Stayed overnight and had blueberry sausage links and pancakes, ambrosia, and assorted fruits for breakfast. It was a very nice Birthday for me.
